I absolutely love spicy food, the spicier the better, and who doesn’t love bacon?! I think most people do. This super easy recipe can be cooked in an air fryer or oven and is probably, it doesn’t take a lot of time and only a few ingredients.

I like to make appetizers for dinner on Sundays, it just a fun way to end the weekend and keep it casual. Also, when football season is in full swing it or any other sport it makes us feel like we are at a pub or bar without breaking the bank.

For this recipe I try to buy the biggest jalapeños I can find at the grocery store, the bigger the better. I also get think bacon to make it easy to wrap around the jalapeños without using toothpicks, but if you like thicker bacon grab toothpick while at the store to hold the bacon on the jalapeños.

If you plan to use the oven instead of an air fryer, preheat oven at 425, place the peppers with the cream mixture and wrapped in bacon in a baking sheet and place it in top rack and bake for 15 -17 minutes.

I like to serve the jalapeño poppers with a side of ranch and veggies such as carrot sticks, celery, cucumber sticks and cherry tomatoes. This recipe is a low carb recipe as the peppers are not breaded and dip fry.

Enjoy!
XO Carol
