Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Pat the chicken cubes dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes until fully combined.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers. Add the chicken in a single layer and sear undisturbed for 3 minutes until a golden-brown crust forms, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour the honey garlic mixture directly over the chicken. Stir constantly for 2-3 minutes until the sauce reduces into a thick, glossy syrup that clings to the meat. Remove from heat immediately.
