Ingredients:

  • 10 oz canned tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Combine the drained tuna and mayonnaise in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Fold in the panko breadcrumbs until the mixture is cohesive, mixing only until combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and gently press them into patties about 3/4 inch thick.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until the oil shimmers.
  5. Sear the patties for 3–4 minutes per side until the edges are mahogany-colored and a crisp crust has formed.
