Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
  2. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss thoroughly, allowing them to coat for approximately 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Thread the shrimp onto skewers if desired.
  4. Place the shrimp on the grates and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until the flesh is opaque and edges have a deep, mahogany-colored char.
  5. Remove the shrimp from the heat immediately, transfer to a platter, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley, and squeeze fresh lemon wedges over the top.
