Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss thoroughly, allowing them to coat for approximately 5 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Thread the shrimp onto skewers if desired.
- Place the shrimp on the grates and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until the flesh is opaque and edges have a deep, mahogany-colored char.
- Remove the shrimp from the heat immediately, transfer to a platter, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley, and squeeze fresh lemon wedges over the top.
