Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss the shrimp in the mixture and let them sit for 10 minutes. If using skewers, thread 4-5 shrimp per rod.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the shrimp (or skewers) directly on the grates and grill for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque and charred.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, simmering for 2 minutes until slightly reduced. Stir in the parsley and remove from heat.
  4. Place the grilled shrimp on a platter or over pasta and pour the hot garlic butter sauce directly over the shrimp.
