Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss the shrimp in the mixture and let them sit for 10 minutes. If using skewers, thread 4-5 shrimp per rod.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the shrimp (or skewers) directly on the grates and grill for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque and charred.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, simmering for 2 minutes until slightly reduced. Stir in the parsley and remove from heat.
- Place the grilled shrimp on a platter or over pasta and pour the hot garlic butter sauce directly over the shrimp.
